The ideal mastini should have a massive head, with excellent cuadratura, "squaring", a massive thich neck with thick protective coat. Open eyes to look at your soul and intimidate you, wide muzzle, nose and mouth which perhaps makes a beast sound, a design of wrinkle, not sharpei in type or other wrinkle dogs, but rather that unique wrinkle and folds of the mastini, the thicker the better for protection with two main folds going from eye lid down to dewlap. A well developed dewlap, but never excessive, never more then double the lips lenght, the lips impressive and thick, but perhaps less long than the popular type of today, this to give greater ability for a clean bite, because a working dog, is also one that can bite! a deep wide chest, which seams to support a enormous Roman monument being heald by four thick and massive columns, the Mastini legs.

The feet seam not of a dog but rather a wild kingdom lion, yet the paws should be clean, tight, never splaid or loose giving opportunity of swelling or sensitivity, sturdy and strong that when troting seams like it's walking on air, and when walking seams the weight of a bear. It's nails so thick and strong that if the Mastini steps on your bare feet you will experience pain. It's body not of a dog but a feline such as a tiger and lion, rectangular in shape and bred in this way traditionally of zaccaro dogs for the purpose of battle, so no adversary can hold it from the back with out the Mastini being able to turn around and deliver punishment.

The Mastini pocesses musculature of a top athalet with well developed strong posteriors to it's rib cage to it's neck, and finally to the top of it's skull furthering the appearance it's head and jaw muzzles can crush your arm bones.

The Mastini should never be a lapdog, instead posses an even temperament ideal for guarding. Not aggressive yet never docile willing to let strangers in to property. Ideally a Mastini should let invited strangers on to the property with its master, with an uneasy acceptance of its guest, harder temperaments should never be discouraged as well, yet the importance here is responsible ownership possessing these subjects. At work and with higher senses at night, the Mastini responds with instincts dating back 4,000 years. Once instinct takes over the Mastini never gives up not even an inch of property with that same stubbornness which you experienced raising your Mastini puppy many times, as an adult that same stubbornness to never give up from an intruder will be there for you to marvel at it.

Loyal, and mostly a one owner dog whom attaches it's self to the soul and body of his  master.
